Elimination

Previously on America’s Next Top Cat:

The cats battled it out in a flying challenge and a group photo shoot. Boo would have been eliminated if she had not won the challenge. Will Boo get it together and be on top? Or will Tiger and Harris steal the show?

One cat will be eliminated tonight.

Who will it be?

Tonight the cats will have an immunity challenge and an elimination challenge.

For the immunity challenge you will be posing under a Christmas tree to help homeless pets get a home for the holidays. The winner of this challenge will win immunity from elimination and will also appear on a flyer for Petfinder.com.

The cats pose for their photo shoot and receive a quick critique.

Harris- you gave us lots of different poses to work with. You also showed that you can model with clothing on, which the judges have been concerned about. Overall great job.

Tiger-You managed to get a good shot, but you had some attitude problems and walked off the set several times. That is just not Top Cat behavior.

Boo-Your lack of enthusiasm was unexpected. You also walked off set several times, and didn’t give the photographer much to work with.

The winner of immunity and an appearance on a Petfinder flyer is…

Harris.

Congratulations.

Harris: Oh wow! Thank you so much!

Tiger: He’s not even cute. He’s just a stupid kid. A**hole.

For the elimination challenge you will pose with a human. The idea is to create a scene which will make it seem like the human is part of your cat clan.

The cats share their thoughts on the challenge.

Tiger: I’m not really too concerned about this challenge as long as I beat Harris. I f***ing hate him.

Harris: I’m pretty excited about this. Today I’m going to be all about variety.

Boo: I hope I do well today. There’s a lot of tension with the group shots though because of all the drama between Harris and Tiger.

Harris: I don’t know what Tiger’s problem is. I always try to play with her but she’s always just a b-word to me.

The cats complete the photo shoot eager and anxious to hear what the judges have to say. After all, only two will continue on in hopes of becoming America’s Next Top Cat.

You know our prizes; a contract with one of the best modeling agencies is the entire world, Elite Cat Management, a cover and 6 page spread in Catmopolitian magazine, and a $100,000 contract with Clawnique Cosmetics.
You know our judges: Miss J Catlexander, runway diva coach extraordinaire. Nigel Pawrker, noted fashion photographer, and Pawlina Pawrizkova, legendary supermodel.

Cats, here is the final photo. You will be evaluated individually.

First up will be Tiger.

Nigel: I really enjoy the interaction you have created. Very creative pose. Nice work.

Pawlina: I actually like it. The pose is excellent and it works really well in the group.

Tiger, you film was great, however, the photographer commented about your attitude again. A top cat does not have a bad attitude on set. That is something you need to work on or you may get set home.

Tiger: Whatever.

Boo, you're up next.

Pawlina: It's a nice pose. It's pretty. Is it special? Not really. You could have put more into it. I don't see passion.

Nigel: It's a bit disappointing. It's nice, but that's about it.

Boo, lately you have been falling short. You manage to get a nice photo but there is more to being a top cat than just that. You need to guarantee the photographer that you will give him/her an amazing photo every time.

Boo: I'm sorry; I don't know what's happening. I'm doing the best I can.

Harris, it's your turn.

Pawlina: This is exactly the kind of pose I was hoping to see. It's excellent.

Nigel: Stunning.

Harris, you gave an amazing variety in poses and it was difficult to pick your best shot. Great work again, and you won immunity from elimination. So congratulations, you are still in the running to be America's Next Top Cat.

Harris: Thank you so much!!!

I have two beautiful cats before me. Boo, you started off in this competition so strong. Your personality is a joy to be around on set. But lately, we have not been seeing the things that have kept you hear for so long. Then we have Tiger, a cat with a beautiful face and body, but struggles to keep a good attitude during shoots. There is more to being a top cat than just looks.

I have one photo in my hand. This photo represents that cat who will continue on in the hope of becoming America's Next Top Cat. The cat I do not call must return to your home and pack your litter and go.

....

.....

....

Tiger, you are still in the running to become America's Next Top Cat. Congratulations.

Tiger: Thanks, I guess.

Boo: Thank you for this opportunity. I'm a little disappointed, but at the same time I'm getting old and maybe modeling is something I should just do on the side. I wish the best of luck to Tiger and Harris.

Flying with Family

Previously on America’s Next Top Cat….
The cats faced off on a group shot challenge. Each of the cats were part of a panoramic and needed to stand out to be noticed.

No one was sent home, but Tiger received best photo.

Tonight on Top Cat:

The cats will have a photo challenge tonight, separate from your photo shoot. Each of you will have one frame to make this work, so you better do your best. You will be dropped and your shot will be midair. You have to give the impression of flying, and be graceful. No need to worry a
bout safety, you will be harnessed in and will land on a big pad. The winner will receive a year’s supply of Fancy Feast Gourmet Cat Food. Also you will receive an exclusive photo shoot with a world renowned photographer as an ad for Fancy Feast.

Boo: “I’m pretty excited about this challenge; I am a little worried about the height though.”

Tiger: “I guess I’ll do this challenge. It’s kind of dumb though.”
Harris: “This is the perfect challenge for me: I love heights and I know I can pull this off!”

Here are the cats’ best shots:

Tiger:Harris:Boo:

The challenge and winner will be discussed during panel.

The cats learned an important lesson about being a in group photo last week, so another group shot will see if they were able to use the critiques to better themselves.

Cats, today you will again be shot individually and put into a composite. You will need to take what you learned last week and show us what you’ve got. Today’s theme will be a formal family portrait. So you need to look believable and classy.
The cats share their thoughts about this weeks photo shoot:

Boo: “I need to do well this week because the judges haven’t liked what I’m giving them. I really need to step it up.”

Harris: “I’m excited to do this shoot; I really learned a lot last week and I hope I will get best photo this week!”

Tiger: “Let’s just hurry up and get this done.”

The photo shoot goes smoothly and the cats prepare for panel:
Boo: “The photographer wasn’t acting too excited about what I was giving her, so I’m a little worried about being sent home tonight.”

Tiger had no comment.

You know our prizes, a contract with one of the best modeling agencies is the entire world, Elite Cat Management, a cover and 6 page spread in Catmopolitian magazine, and a $100,000 contract with Clawnique Cosmetics.
You know our judges: Miss J Catlexander, runway diva coach extraordinaire. Nigel Pawrker, noted fashion photographer, and Pawl
ina Pawrizkova, legendary supermodel.

First we will discuss your challenge.
First up will be Harris.

Nigel Pawrker: It's quite interesting. It has attitude, however, you really look like you are bracing for impact. I would have liked to have seen something a bit more graceful from you.

Pawlina: I like it, but I wish you would have kept your tail down so it would have been in the frame.

Harris: "Thank you"

Tiger, you're up next.

Nigel: It's terrible. We don't want to see your butt.

Pawlina: What were you thinking?

Tiger: F*** y'all.

Boo, it's your turn now.

Pawlina: I love it. It's very graceful and you really modeled head to tail in this one. Very nice

Nigel: Very nice. I love the pose.

The judges have deliberated and decided on a winner for the challenge.
The winner is...
...
...
Boo. Congratulations Boo. You have won an ad campaign with Fancy Feast Gourmet Cat Food and a year's supply of cat food.

Boo: "I'm SO excited about all the food!!!"

We will now critique your group shot from this week. Here is the shot, but we will critique each of you individually.

Harris, you're up first.

Pawlina: This is a very nice photo of you Harris. You wear that tie very well.
Nigel: I quite like this. It's simple but stunning, and above all, works in the group shot.

Harris, your film was very good. You gave a great variety in your poses and you really performed well for the camera. Great job this week.

Tiger, it's your turn.

Pawlina: This is fantastic. I LOVE the pose. It's so creative, and after your performance in the challenge, I'm quite surprised to see something this great come from you.
Nigel: I agree, this is amazing. Nice work.

Tiger, your film was amazing. And this shot is amazing. You did such a great job; the photographer even commented on how much fun you were to work with. You've had another great week. Good job.

Boo, you're up.

Nigel: While it works nicely in the group photo, as an individual it falls a little flat.
Pawlina: You don't have any passion in this picture. I expected a little more from you.

Boo, your film this week wasn't very good. You didn't give any variety in the poses. We expected more from you.

Cats, we had originally planned to make an elimination based on tonight's photos. There will not, however, be an elimination tonight. I will call out your names in order of best photo though.
The first name I'm going to call is the winner of best photo and this photo will be displayed in your home as digital art.
...
...
Tiger.

Tiger: "Wow. 2 weeks in a row. F*** you Harris!"

The next name I'm going to call is runner-up for best photo.
...
...
Harris

Harris: "Thank you so much."

Boo, your name was not called. You would have been eliminated tonight if you had not been the challenge winner. Think about that and really try hard next week.

Group photos

Previously on America's Next Top Cat...
The cats went head to head in an intellectual photo shoot and Tiger was the first cat to be eliminated.
BUT
on this all new season she has been brought back due to popular demand!

The decision to bring Tiger back to the competition was due to false allegations of illegal drug use (the roids were by prescription). Plus the cats need a full portfolio before eliminations can start, and Tiger's portfolio was much smaller because she was added into the competition late.

Harris: "I don't really think it's very fair that Tiger is back in the competition, I mean that just makes the competition tougher and I KNOW that she just doesn't have a passion for modeling. Plus she was on drugs."

Cats, today your photo shoot will be a group shot for the final photo. We will shoot you all individually and choose your best shot, but put together a composite which may not necessary have your best shot in it. So, this is not only about looking good when you are alone in a photo, but about standing out while in a group photo. And to make it even tougher-all the shots will be nude.

The cats share their thoughts about this weeks photo shoot:
Boo: "I'm actually pretty worried about this shoot because the competition is just to tough and I HAVE to win Top Cat. Modeling is my passion."

Tiger: "I personally love nude shoots but I just hope there are treats on set. Also I really hope Harris f***s up"

Harris: "I had best photo last week so I'm just hoping to get it again this week."

Cats, You know our prizes: a contract with one of the best modeling agencies is the entire world, Elite Cat Management, a cover and 6 page spread in Catmopolitian magazine and a $100,000 contract with Clawnique Cosmetics.

You know our judges: Miss J Catlexander, runway diva coach extraordinaire. Nigel Pawrker, noted fashion photographer, and Pawlina Pawrizkova, legendary supermodel.
First we will look at each of your individual shots end then at the final panoramic.
Tiger, you're up first. Let's see your best shot:

Nigel: "This is actually very nice. You had a feeling in you and you went for it and it really shows through in your photo. I can really feel the emotion. Nice work.

J. Catlexander: "Girrrl you worked it!"

Pawlina: "It was a great decision to bring you back on top cat-this is phenomenal. I'm interested to see what you look like in the final work."

Tiger, this shot is amazing. You just have this emotion in your eyes, like you are proud to be who you are. What were you going for in this photo?

Tiger: "Honestly? I thought I saw a steak across the room. BUT, I could say that I just really wanted to show how proud I was to not be pure bred, and that we are amazing cats too."

Ok...Tiger, my concern with you is that every week the photographer tells me that you are difficult to work with which could be a problem in the cat modeling world. You need to work on that.

Tiger: "Whatever. Thanks."

Boo you're up next. Let's see your best shot:

Pawlina: "Boo, this isn't your best work. You need to learn how to find the light because with your face if you're not careful you lose the light and it's hard to see your face."

Nigel: "It's nice but not fantastic. In this stage of the competition I think we are expecting a little more from you."

Boo, the judges are confused. The photographer always says how easy you are to work with and that you're such a pleasure on set but you don't always deliver. You have the personality, passion and the body- but we can't tell if you just get lucky sometimes or if you have a natural talent.

Boo: "I will try harder. Thank you."

Last up, Harris. Let's see your best shot:

Nigel: "I quite like it. It's spunky and has personality."

Pawlina: "I enjoy the personality that shows, however you need to watch your tail. It almost looks as if it is cut off."

J. Catlexander: "Girrrrl. I mean boyy. Me-ow!"

Harris, this is a great picture. You have once again delivered, but like Pawlina said-be sure to be aware of every part of your body. Model head to paws.

Harris: "Thank you"

Now we will take a look at the final panoramic:

Quick critiques:
Boo- you get kind of lost in this photo. You are in it twice and both times there is just nothing special about the pose or facial expression.

Tiger-You are only in this once, but you just look heroic and I think you really bring the photo together.

Harris-Your best individual photo is actually in this and I think it kind of saves you. You other one has personality but it's just not the best expression for you.

Now we will not be eliminating anyone tonight, but I will be calling your names in order of best photo to worst. The eliminations in the future will be based on these rankings.
The first name I'm going to call is the winner of best photo and this photo will be displayed in your home as digital art.
...
...
Tiger.

Tiger: "Wow...I never expected to get best photo. Thanks I guess."

The next name I'm going to call is runner up for best photo.
...
...
Harris.

Harris: "Thank you. I'll work harder."

Boo, you are the only one left which mean you are in the bottom of this week. You can still turn your portfolio around but you will need to work hard.
